Supervision That Goes Beyond the Textbook

A woman with brown hair, wearing earrings and a beige hoodie with 'You Matter.' written on it, smiling at a laptop in a cozy indoor setting with warm lighting, plants, books, and decorative items.

You learned the theories. Now you have to sit across from an actual human and figure out what to do with them.

Clinical supervision gives you space to slow down, think critically, strengthen your clinical judgment, and grow into the therapist you want to be.

Bring the Stuff They Didn’t Teach You

The case you can’t stop thinking about. The client you feel stuck with. The intervention that sounded great in grad school but landed completely differently in the room. The moment you wondered, “Wait, did I handle that right?”

Bring it.

Supervision is where we slow it down, look at what happened, and think through what comes next. We’ll connect the theory to the actual work while helping you develop your clinical judgment and your own voice as a therapist.

Two people working at a table with laptops, notebooks, and writing utensils; a vase with calla lilies, decorative vases, and a glass of water are on the table. The background has beige and brown walls.

Clinical Thinking

Case conceptualization, interventions, treatment planning, and figuring out what might actually be happening underneath what you're seeing.

A person working on a laptop at a white desk, with a glass of water, a camera, a smartphone, and two closed notebooks. There is a white vase with dried flowers in the background.

Your Therapist Brain

Building confidence in your clinical judgment, recognizing your own reactions, asking better questions, and learning when to trust your instincts and when to slow down.

A wooden table with a silver vase holding a single flower stem, a glass of water, a pair of glasses, a notebook, and a pen. Behind, there are three ceramic vases, a tray, and a framed abstract artwork.

The Real-World Stuff

Documentation, boundaries, ethics, difficult conversations, systems, and all the other parts of being a therapist that somehow take up way more space than anyone warned you about.

What supervision with me looks like

I’m not here to turn you into a miniature version of me. I want to help you understand why you’re making the clinical choices you’re making, get curious when something isn’t working, and develop a way of practicing that feels grounded, ethical, and genuinely yours.

Expect questions. Expect reflection. Expect me to challenge you when it matters. And expect plenty of room to say, “I have no idea what I’m doing here,” because sometimes that’s exactly where good supervision starts.
